| Description: | PrivDog is a privacy tool oriented in Anti-Malvertising that blocks harmful advertising networks, 3rd party trackers, cookies, and other data collection processes. This extension comes from old PrivDog 2.x, versions 3.x and 4.x work as a browser independent network filter. PrivDog was available as a standalone edition or an integration in older Comodo products. Controversial "Trusted Advertisements" feature substituting ads - "Deliver TrustedAds from AdTrustMedia" selected by default, but can be changed to "Block all Ad Networks". Discontinued and no longer available. Replaced with a set of Comodo AdBlockers. |
